Supermodel Naomi Campbell is renowned all over the globe. She has graced us for over 20 years. When the doctor handed Naomi to her mother Valerie, God had already set in motion that she would be famous. Not only is she famous, she is an Icon, nationally and internationally. In America, we recognize her, and so do people in other parts of the world. She looks fabulous as ever, a little more time to strut the catwalk, a little more time to pose for the cameras. Naomi has made history in many areas of the fashion world, and other fashion genres.
Born in Scranton, London destine for fame, while walking home from a performing arts class in South London one day, she was approached and asked 'would she like to be a model.’ She said yes, and here we are over 20 years later from that decision. She had no clue that decision would make her know all over the world. Naomi makes modeling looks so easy, she has to enjoy it in order to last so long. She gets paid $10,000 per hour or more to model in a fashion show, how cool is that! How did she do it?
Naomi will tell us someday how it was for her to reach her God given providence. She will also tell us what motivated her to stay so long, and was it worth it. Many would say that it does not take much to put on those pretty chic clothes and walk down a catwalk. Look at those legs, the posture, her signature walk, side to side, the turn at the end of the catwalk. No one can imitate, no, not one! Naomi is an international model with gigs across the globe. Traveling around the globe must be overwhelming an exciting at the same time. From New York to wherever: Milan, France, London, Brazil, Rome, Austria, Spain, Russia, Asia, and parts of the Middle East. The fruits of Naomi’s labor have its rewards: supermodel, actress, author, dancer, singer, and businesswoman with her own signature perfumes, NC Connects, and a Millionairess. Fashioning million dollars diamonds for various designers is another perk for gaining that status It is a tough job, and God gave Naomi the grace to do the job.
There are many famous people in the world, but there are not many Icons. God made Naomi famous to do just what she is doing, helping others! Naomi’s attends many charity functions, and also puts together her own charity events. She uses her iconic status to pull together a fundraiser at the snap of her finger. Thousands of her fundraisers dollars and personal money goes to charities all over the world.
Naomi Campbell held a fundraiser for the Katrina victims and donated over a million dollars to the Red Cross. She cares for the children of South Africa where she uses her famous status to help in raising funds for the Nelson Mandela Foundation. A few charities events that she has been involved in: “Save the Music” helping provide instruments for inner city kids in New York. She helped Purchased Baseball Equipment for the kids in Hawaii; helped the president of Brazil in a campaign to stamp out poverty in parts of Brazil. Many friends and designers invite her to many functions using her name, and help them with their causes, i.e. Aides. Being Naomi Campbell can created problems, but as she gets older and really concentrate on why she was given such a high calling, she will not have to fight to get the respect that she deserves. Jealousy is one burden that comes with being so beautiful.
