Sylvester Stallone's Three Day Stay In Sydney Australia, Was, No Pun Intended, Rocky

Sylvester Stallone left Sydney Australia, and unfortunately his arrival and 3 day stay was somewhat, Rocky. The actor-director left Monday for Thailand to work on the fourth sequel, entitled John Rambo. During his Premiere tour of Rocky Balboa, his private jet flew into Sydney Australia where customs officials allegedly found some questionable items that were caught by luggage x-ray. Custom Officials held him and his associates up for so many hours, that the actor missed the Premiere on February 16, 2007.

Deadly Stingers Stole the Show from Kate Hudson, and Matthew Mcconaughey

Jellyfish are about as handy as a back pocket on a t-shirt. And they stole the show from Superstars Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey.

Literally!

Where? Hervey Bay, (Fraser Island), Queensland Australia-- last week.

Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey have been busy in Queensland Australia since last year, working on a romantic movie entitled, Fools Gold. The young actors have been back and forth to several locations, such as the Whitsunday Islands, North Queensland. (Where Brooke Shields filmed the Blue Lagoon, a few years back, it truly is as beautiful as it looked on film.) The beaches are whitest in the world, as white as snow, and the water is so blue it’s green. At the time I was beach bumming on a deserted island, Long Island actually, where the locals like to play.. Anyway, I had a wave with their yacht when they were staying on Hamilton Island. It was very exciting for the Australians, and all of us tourists, as Matthew, who is very outgoing and friendly, met a lot of locals, had a few coldies, and watched footy at the pub. Kate was reported to be having a quiet relaxing stay, and kept to herself mostly. Who could blame her, one cannot go on a tropical island, and not relax. It’s unheard of Mate!

Upon wrapping up the movie, and filming the final scene on Fraser Island, where the brumbies (wild horses), and dingoes roam free. And I’ve been there myself, and it’s a gorges island, it’s about a half hour by ferry boat to get to it, and they drive off road vehicles to get around. The wales often the channel through there during their mating season, and the dolphins also play amongst the islands, and for early risers in Tincan Bay you can even feed the dolphins at the dock.

Fortunately for Kate and Matthew, they had a professional on board their crew. A Dr. Jamie Seymour, of James Cook University, whose responsibility was to ensure the safety of the waters where the stars were swimming. He spotted the irukandji jellyfish. Now these little monsters are the most deadliest jellyfish to swim the seas. Spongebob might have a love of jellyfish hunting, but Kate and Matthew’s adventure would have been a whole different scene.

Unlike the box jellyfish which are also deadly, and have tentacles up to 100 feet long, the irukandji jellyfish are the size of a thumbnail, and will kill you within 3 mins of contact, with the most unimaginable pain.

They are currently seeking out a new location for the film to finish, no doubt they’ll head back to the Whitsunday’s, as the tropical atmosphere is picturesque no matter where you park the dolly. Hay if I run into the stars, I’ll an inspirational quote for all you..

That’s a wrap
